Boil water advisory in effect
A boil Water Advisory is in effect for Beaver Bank, Middle and Lower Sackville, Upper Hammonds Plains, Bedford, Fall River, Halifax, Timberlea, Spryfield and Herring Cove. Water is safe for hand washing and flushing toilets. Bottled water for drinking will be provided at impacted schools.

Halifax Regional Arts Choirs are thrilled to announce that Dr. Kiera Galway will join us for HRA's Fall Choral Workshops on November 6 and 7, 2024! Dr. Galway possesses a wealth of musical experience and training and is currently an Assistant Professor at Mount Allison University.  HRA choir students from elementary to high school levels will participate in engaging workshops with Dr. Galway, focusing on vocal techniques, repertoire enhancement, and team building.  HRA is very excited our students will have this incredible opportunity to learn and grow as singers from Dr. Galway! #thankstoyouhalifax
